Terpinolene mainly occurs in parsnip oil (40-70%), but also in hemp and grapevine, in conifers, rosemary, and lilac, with a typically woody scent.
This substance may have antimicrobial properties and acts as an antioxidant. In addition, investigations are underway whether terpinolene has the potential to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells.
